Sarawak Plantation Berhad is one of the pioneer players in the oil palm industry in Sarawak. The Group owns several estates and mills which are within close proximity to major roads. We invite suitably qualified individuals to join our dynamic team as:





      Principal Responsibilities
• Oversees and administer the day-to-day Estate operations of both regions which includes operating budget, or plan, logistics, manpower, Productivity improvement and work program plan.
• To execute and ensure all field operation activities are implemented in accordance accepted by the management.
• To allocate and optimize workforce utilization.
• To ensure that all Estate facilities and equipment are efficiently managed.
• To ensure that all environmental and statutory requirement are compiled with.

• Diploma or Degree in Agriculture (having an Incorporated Society of Planters’ (ISP) certificate is an added advantage)
• Ability to work under tight reporting deadlines
• Possess analytical skills, problem solving and decision-making abilities
• Good interpersonal, supervisory and coaching skills
• Minimum 5 - 10 years of experience in estate managerial capacity


     2. OPERATION MANAGER (To be based in Estate)

Principal Responsibilities
• In charge of day-to-day running of estate operation

• Possess degree/diploma in Plantation Management/Agricultural Science or in any related discipline
• Minimum 7 years working experience in executive or managerial position in oil palm plantation
• Experience in managing peat and mineral soil estate will be an added advantage


Principal Responsibilities
• To manage centralized workshop and store for spare parts/inventories for estates’ machineries.
• To provide/coordinate necessary support to estates’ operation mechanic team.
• To plan & review purchase request for spare parts/inventories.
• To plan & review optimum inventories level for centralized store.
• To plan for repair & maintenance of machineries.

• Possess at least a diploma/degree in Automotive or Automotive Management.
• Minimum 5 years working experience.
• Those without valid academic qualification but with minimum 7 years working experience in managing workshop or anything equivalent will be considered.


      4. FIELD SUPERVISOR (to be based in Mukah)


      Principal Responsibilities
• To supervise daily estate operation activities such as harvesting, manuring, upkeep and maintenance.

• Possess at least a SPM/STPM or certificate from SAVTI or any relevant discipline.
• Possess a valid motorcycle license.
• Have experience in immature area or new development area.


      5. Laboratory Manager (SP Laboratory) - to be based in Kuching / Miri

Principal responsibilities:
• Manage the overall laboratory operation and implementation of MS ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory management system
• Ensure timely execution of chemical analysis and issuance of test results to the customers
• Oversee the laboratory management on marketing, administrative, financial and purchasing
• Schedule maintenance and development of equipment calibration and repair, QA/QC procedures, measurement of uncertainty estimation, method development, validation and verification procedures
• Schedule and coordinate internal audit, external assessment, risk assessment and management system review
• Administer laboratory’s participation in proficiency testing program, staff training and competency monitoring
• Liaise with customers on the technical support for the analytical testing services
• Ensure continuous compliance with laboratory safety requirements and regulations

• Possess Master’s Degree / Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in the laboratory management
• Registered with Institut Kimia Malaysia (IKM)
• Possess knowledge on MS ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory management system
• Possess excellent technical knowledge with hands on experience on a wide range of standard analytical methods, equipment and instrumentation for fertilizer, plant, soil, water and FFB analysis
• Familiar with laboratory safety practices, policies and legal requirements


      6. ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (SP LABORATORY) – To be based in Kuching

                        Principal Responsibilities

      • To perform customer care such as answering phone calls, replying to emails and attend to quotations, reports and invoices.

      • Develop and maintain filing system and records.

      • Assist in the preparation of monthly report.

      • To perform parcel/sample collection, postage and delivery.

      • To perform general accounting such as handling customer/vendor invoices, cash vouchers and payment.

      • Carry out general support, purchase request, supplies and maintenance.

      • To do other assigned tasks when necessary.



      Minimum a Diploma in any relevant field with at least 1-2 years of working experience.

      Able to take own initiative, multi-tasking, have good communication skills and able to work independently with minimum supervision.



Principal Responsibilities
• Prepare and perform analytical review of estates/mills costing for management reporting purposes.
• Coordinate in preparation and monitoring of the company’s budget.
• Verify/confirm creditors claim/invoice submissions and ensure all claims/payments submission is as per Company’s policies and procedures and supporting documents are compiled accordingly.
• Verify various reconciliations such as bank reconciliations, creditors’ reconciliations, debtors’ reconciliations etc and any other accounting reconciliation.
• Assist Account Managers in corporate reporting, analysis and any other accounting matters.

• Possess Bachelor’s Degree or Professional degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent. Those with supporting professional accreditations (e.g. CPA or ACCA) will have an advantage.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Application such as MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint and proficient in computerized accounting system.
• Possess strong analytical skills, integrity and self-motivated with ability to work independently within a set time line and a strong team player.


Principal Responsibilities
• Assist in preparation and compilation of data for monthly management reporting.
• Process accounting transactions, such as receipts and payments, receivables and payables, fixed assets etc.
• Prepare reconciliations - bank, creditors’ and debtors’ reconciliation and any other reconciliation.
• Assist in preparation and compilation of documents and transaction recording for treasury function.

• Possess Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience in accounting field will be an added advantage.
• Possess good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Application such as MS Word and MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and proficiency in computerized accounting system.
• Possess strong analytical skills, integrity, self-motivated with ability to work independently within a set time line and a strong team player.




Principal Responsibilities
• To ensure optimum running condition of estate vehicles and machineries.
• To implement preventive maintenance in estate daily activities as per planned by the estate management based on work programmes and estate target.

• Certificate/Diploma in any Vocational/Technical training.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in related field.



Principal Responsibilities
 Set-up, operate and maintain machinery, ensuring the machine produces high quality products, runs smoothly and at capacity, and is properly maintained.

• More than 3 years’ experience as a field machine operator (ie. Badang, Bangau, 3WD).

      • Able to maneuver machine in hilly areas.

      • Willing to work in estates.



Principal Responsibilities
• To operate the lathe machine.

• At least 3 years of experience working with a lathe machine.
• Able to work independently.
• Good attitude and hard working.



Principal Responsibilities
Driving and carrying out regular maintenance and repairs of tractors.

      • Operating tractors safely and efficiently.

      • Perform inspection on tractors, ensuring they are in good condition.

• 3 years’ experience as tractor driver.

      • Able to maneuver tractor in hilly areas.

      • Willing to work in estates.



Principal Responsibilities
• Repair oil palm estate’s machinery and vehicle with wiring problems.

• Have prior experience with wiring machineries and vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safe wiring practices.
• Good attitude and hard working.
