GENERAL MANAGER (PLANTATION) / SENIOR OPERATION MANAGER
Principal Responsibilities:
- Oversees and administer the day-to-day Estate operations of both regions which includes operating budget, or plan, logistics, manpower, Productivity improvement and work program plan.
- To execute and ensure all field operation activities are implemented in accordance accepted by the management.
- To allocate and optimize workforce utilization.
- To ensure that all Estate facilities and equipment are efficiently managed.
- To ensure that all environmental and statutory requirement are compiled with.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Agriculture (having an Incorporated Society of Planters’ (ISP) certificate is an added advantage)
- Ability to work under tight reporting deadlines
- Possess analytical skills, problem solving and decision-making abilities
- Good interpersonal, supervisory and coaching skills
- Minimum 5 – 10 years of experience in estate managerial capacity
OPERATION MANAGER
Principal Responsibilities:
- In charge of day-to-day running of estate operation
Requirements:
- Possess degree/diploma in Plantation Management/Agricultural Science or in any related discipline
- Minimum 7 years working experience in executive or managerial position in oil palm plantation
- Experience in managing peat and mineral soil estate will be an added advantage
SECURITY MANAGER
Principal Responsibilities:
- Monitor security policies, programs or procedures to ensure compliance with internal security policies, licensing requirements, or applicable government security requirements, policies, and directives.
- Identify, develop, implement and sustain a plan identifying requirements, policies and standard operating procedures necessary to ensure the safety and security of the public (customers) and employees, the security and protection of Company’s properties and assets.
- Manage the budget requirements related to security operations.
- Provide timely reporting of incidents including various security statistic reports.
- Develop and implement relevant security trainings for all security personnel.
- Provide regular security briefings to senior security personnel in-charge of overall operations.
Requirements:
- Minimum Certificate/Diploma in Security Management or its equivalent with 10 years’ working experience in Security Management.
- Retired Inspector or Lieutenant (PDRM or ATM) with minimum 5 years’ experience at Supervisory/Management level in Plantation industry.
- Must be a person of integrity with good interpersonal and leadership skills.
PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO GM / HPO (To be based in Estate)
Principal Responsibilities:
- Generate information by transcribing, formatting, retrieving, transmitting, analyzing text, data and graphics.
- Ensure diary is effectively organized and meetings are accurately minuted.
- Direct and coordinate arrangements, meetings and conferences as assigned and ensure that GM / HPO is provided with the Agenda and details of the meetings.
- Manage GM / HPO travel arrangements and personal matters.
- Screen incoming phone calls, emails, enquiries and requests. Reply as appropriate and highlight urgent and important correspondence which needs immediate attention.
- Draft and prepare report from information collected.
- Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level and space required.
- Secure information received by completing database backups.
- Perform ad hoc duties as assigned from time to time.
Requirements
- Possess at least Degree in Business Administration, Secretarial or equivalent.
- At least 3 – 5 years of working experience in the related field.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Possess strong initiative and coordination skills, honest and trustworthy.
- Must maintain strict confidentiality over all information obtained in the performance of duties.
- Able to work with minimum supervision and have a strong sense of urgency.
ACCOUNTS OFFICER
Principal Responsibilities:
- Prepare and perform analytical review of estates/mills costing for management reporting purposes.
- Coordinate in preparation and monitoring of the company’s budget.
- Verify/confirm creditors claim/invoice submissions and ensure all claims/payments submission is as per company’s policies and procedures and supporting documents are compiled accordingly.
- Verify various reconciliations such as bank reconciliations, creditors’ reconciliations, debtors’ reconciliations etc and any other accounting reconciliation.
- Assist Account Managers in corporate reporting, analysis and any other accounting matters.
Requirements:
- Possess Bachelor’s Degree or Professional degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent. Those with supporting professional accreditations (e.g. CPA or ACCA) will have an advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Application such as MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint and proficient in computerized accounting system.
- Possess strong analytical skills, integrity and self-motivated with ability to work independently within a set time line and a strong team player.
ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT
Principal Responsibilities:
- Involve in all account matters pertaining to financial accounting, bookkeeping, costing, budgeting and financial and management reporting.
- Assist in preparation and analytical review on the monthly management reporting.
- Process accounting transactions, such as receipts and payments, receivables and payables.
- Prepare reconciliations – bank, creditors’ and debtors’ reconciliation.
- Assist in preparation of corporate reporting and compilation of financial and operational data.
- Assist in preparation of documents and transaction recording for treasury function.
Requirements:
- Possess minimum of Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Financial/Accounting or equivalent.
- Possess good communication skill. Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Application such as MS Word and MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and proficiency in computerized accounting system.
- Possess strong analytical skills, integrity, self-motivated and with ability to work independently within time line and a strong team player.
AGRONOMIST (Stationed In Mukah Estate)
Principal Responsibilities:
- To complete Agronomic report yearly for estate improvement.
- To formulate fertilizer recommendation annually based leaf and soil analysis, FFB production, age and etc.
- To conduct quality control check, troubleshooting field research experiment for oil palm yield improvement.
- To assist Senior Agronomist (SA) in planning and monitoring on integrated Pest Management, manuring recommendation, fertilizer, agrochemical and any agronomy trial.
- To assist Senior Agronomist (SA) in planning and monitoring on integrated Pest Management, manuring recommendation, fertilizer, agrochemical and any agronomy trial.
- To assist Senior Agronomist in producing and updating standard operating procedure (SOP).
Requirements:
- Minimum five (5) years experiences in agronomy works and related requirement.
- Diploma / Degree in Plantation or Plant Science or any related discipline.
- Able to work independently and willing to travel within the estates.
- Preferable male candidates.
- Physically fit and healthy.
LOGISTIC -IN- CHARGE
Principal Responsibilities:
- Supervise and report utilization or productivity of heavy machineries, lorry or any mobile equipment required for road construction, upgrading or repair.
- Assist Operation Manager to identify roads that need to be constructed, upgraded or repaired.
- Monitor and report the work done on road construction, upgrading or repair.
Requirements:
- Possess at least a SPM/STPM or certificate from SAVTI or any relevant discipline.
- Possess a valid motorcycle licence.
FIELD SUPERVISOR
Principal Responsibilities:
- To supervise daily estate operation activities such as harvesting, manuring, upkeep and maintenance.
Requirements:
- Possess at least a SPM/STPM or certificate from SAVTI or any relevant discipline.
- Possess a valid motorcycle license.
- Have experience in immature area or new development area.
MECHANIC / MECHANIC HELPER (To be based in Estate)
Principal Responsibilities
- To ensure optimum running condition of estate vehicles and machineries.
- To implement preventive maintenance estate daily activities as per planned by the estate management based on working programmed and estate target.
Requirements:
- Minimum requirement was SPM
- Certificate in any Vocational / technical training in vehicle engineering
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply as training will be provided
- Willing to be located at any SPB estate
- Must be physically fit and in excellent health
WIRE TECHNICIAN
Principal Responsibilities:
- Repair oil palm estate’s machinery and vehicle with wiring problems.
Requirements:
- Have prior experience with wiring machineries and vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safe wiring practices.
- Good attitude and hard working.
TRAINEE ENGINEER (R&D)
Principal Responsibilities:
- Design prototype machinery using AutoCAD or any related software that can increase worker’s productivity in harvesting, spraying, manuring or any related field activities.
- To model the prototype design using 3D printer.
- To work out cost-benefit analysis of the proposed machine’s utilization.
- To provide estimated budget for each prototype.
- To supervise, collect and analyze data from field testing/trial.
- To propose improvements on the existing machine design based on data and feedbacks gathered in the field until commercialization.
- To provide technical support to on-site mechanics when needed.
- Troubleshoot and solve problems on machinery on trial.
Requirements:
- Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Mechatronics).
- Have experience in using AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS and 3D-printer.
- Possess strong analytical skills, integrity and self-motivated with ability to work independently within a set time line and a strong team player.

FIELD AUDIT TRAINEE / ASSISTANT (To be based in Miri HQ)
Principal Responsibilities:
- To conduct field audit tasks and daily inspection on overall estate operations including harvesting, manuring, weeding so as to ensure job quality and tasks are carried out according to standards set or company’s policy
- To carry out investigation on suspicious records or substandard work or records
Requirements:
- Possess at least diploma/degree in any relevant discipline
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply as training will be provided
