ESTATE MECHANIZATION ENGINEER (to be based in Miri HQ)
Principal Responsibilities :
• To test, innovate/develop relevant machinery that can be adopted into plantation operation which can improve workers productivity.
• Work closely with estate operation managers to plan/identify area & mechanization needs in plantation operation.
• To review, analyse and implement estate mechanization projects.
• Prepare or improve engineering designs and plans for agricultural machinery/equipment.
• Provide competency/technical training to machine operators and mechanic.
• Prepare and present mechanization report to management.
Requirements :
• Possess Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics/Agricultural Engineering from recognized university.
• Working experience, interest and exposure with engine, hydraulics, agricultural machinery & PLC will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, research & data gathering skills.
• Able work independently & communicate effectively with internal and external parties.
• Possess valid driving license & willing to travel.
TRAINEE ENGINEER (STATIONED AT THE MILLS)
Principal Responsibilities
- Responsible for any engineering tasks including performing practical and administrative duties assigned by the Mill Manager or superior.
- Completion of all assigned tasks within given deadlines.
- Monitor each assigned task, prepare progress reports till completion of assigned task.
- Prepare daily production report, complete the maintenance monitoring list/history card etc.
- Assist the superior in daily operation (process/ utility / maintenance) on rotation basis.
Requirements
- Diploma holder in any related field.
- Good communication skills.
- Possess strong analytical skills, integrity and self-motivated with ability to work independently within a set time line and a strong team player.
STORE KEEPER (To be based in Estate)
Principal Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect and record incoming materials or spare parts.
- Maintain proper storage, labeling, and arrangement of stock items.
- Issue materials upon request with proper documentation.
- Perform regular stock take and report discrepancies.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety of the store area.
- Update inventory records in EMS Inventory system.
- Coordinate with the procurement department.
- Monitor stock levels and inform supervisor for reorder needs.
Requirements
- Minimum SPM or equivalent.
- Experience in storekeeping or inventory management is an advantage.
- Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
- Physically fit and able to handle store items.
- Honest, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
MECHANIC (To be based in Estate)
Principal Responsibilities
- To ensure optimum running condition of estate vehicles and machineries.
- To implement preventive maintenance estate daily activities as per planned by the estate management based on working programmed and estate target.
Requirements
- Minimum requirement was SPM.
- Certificate in any Vocational / technical training in vehicle engineering.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply as training will be provided.
- Willing to be located at any SPB estate.
- Must be physically fit and in excellent health.
REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE MANAGER (CENTRAL REGION)
Principal Responsibilities
- To manage centralized workshop and store for spare parts/inventories for estates’ machineries.
- To provide/coordinate necessary support to estates’ operation mechanic team.
- To plan & review purchase request for spare parts/inventories.
- To plan & review optimum inventories level for centralized store.
- To plan for repair & maintenance of machineries.
Requirements:
- Possess at least a diploma/degree in Automotive or Automotive Management.
- Minimum 5 years working experience.
- Those without valid academic qualification but with minimum 7 years working experience in managing workshop or anything equivalent will be considered.
GENERAL MANAGER (Mill & Marketing)
Principal Responsibilities
- Oversees and administer the day-to-day Mill & Marketing operations of both regions which includes operating budget, or plan, logistics, manpower, Productivity improvement and work program plan.
- To execute and ensure all mills operation activities are implemented in accordance accepted by the management.
- To allocate and optimize workforce utilization.
- To ensure that all Mill facilities and equipment are efficiently managed.
- To ensure that all environmental and statutory requirement are compiled with.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business AdministrationAbility to work under tight reporting deadlines
- Possess analytical skills, problem solving and decision-making abilities
- Good interpersonal, supervisory and coaching skills
- Minimum 5 – 10 years of experience in Mill and Marketing managerial capacity
DIVISION IN CHARGE
Principal Responsibilities
- To assist Operation Manager in running day-to-day operation of a division in an estate of about 1,000 – 1,500 hectares.
Requirements
- Possess at least a certificate in agriculture / SAVTI or Diploma in Plantation Management / Agricultural Science or any related discipline.
- Those with only SPM / STPM certificate will be considered with minimum 3 years field working experience.
- Having experience in charge of both mature and immature field will be an added advantage.
FIELD SUPERVISOR
Principal Responsibilities
- To supervise daily estate operation activities such as harvesting, manuring, upkeep and maintenance.
Requirements
- Possess at least a SPM/STPM or certificate from SAVTI or any relevant discipline.
- Have experience in immature area or new development area.
- Possess a valid motorcycle license.
ACCOUNT ASSISTANT
Principal Responsibilities
- Involve in all account matters pertaining to financial accounting, bookkeeping, costing, budgeting and financial and management reporting.
- Assist in preparation and analytical review on the monthly management reporting.
- Process accounting transactions, such as receipts and payments, receivables and payables.
- Prepare reconciliations – bank, creditors’ and debtors’ reconciliation.
- Assist in preparation of corporate reporting and compilation of financial and operational data.
- Assist in preparation of documents and transaction recording for treasury function.
Requirements
- Possess minimum of Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Financial / Accounting or equivalent.
- Possess good communication skill. Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Application such as MS Word and MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and proficiency in computerized accounting system.
- Possess strong analytical skills, integrity, self-motivated and with ability to work independently within time line and a strong team player.

ACCOUNT OFFICER
Principal Responsibilities
- Prepare and perform analytical review of estates / mills costing for management reporting purposes.
- Coordinate in preparation and monitoring of the company’s budget.
- Verify/confirm creditors claim/invoice submissions and ensure all claims/payments submission is as per Company’s policies and procedures and supporting documents are compiled accordingly.
- Verify various reconciliations such as bank reconciliations, creditors’ reconciliations, debtors’ reconciliations etc and any other accounting reconciliation.
- Assist Account Managers in corporate reporting, analysis and any other accounting matters.
Requirements
- Possess Bachelor’s Degree or Professional degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent. Those with supporting professional accreditations (e.g. CPA or ACCA) will have an advantage.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant working experience in Finance and Accounts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Application such as MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint and proficient in computerized accounting system.
- Possess strong analytical skills, integrity and self-motivated with ability to work independently within a set time line and a strong team player.
